The cottage is approximately 6 miles from Hawes and 45 minutes from the Lake District which makes it a great base to explore from (by car or train).
Whether you like museums, castles, working exhibits, natural wonders, good pubs and fine restaurants or peace and tranquility, Garsdale is within easy reach of them all.
The location of the cottage makes it an ideal place for all those who enjoy walking and beautiful scenery.

The Moorcock Inn is only half a mile down the road and offers a good range of food and ales as well as a warm welcome from Simon and Caz.
